Our training courses, webinars and user group meetings are designed to give you the skills and confidence to use CMSi, as well as opportunities to share experiences with and learn from other CMSi users.

Training Courses
The CMSi Foundation course is an opportunity to provide new staff with the skills they need to get up and running with CMSi. This course is repeated quarterly and runs over three days. The schedule is a morning, a full day and another morning (4x 3 hour sessions). The class size is a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 6.
We have frozen our course fee for 2023 at our 2022 price, at £480 per trainee, and we offer a discounted rate for charities.
2023 CMSi Foundation Course dates:
The CMSi Administrators course is an opportunity for new administrators, or those who would like to fill in gaps in their admin skills. This course comprises of 6 hours of tuition over two days. As we there is lower demand for this we will schedule these when we have 3 or more enquiries, so please note your interest on the form below and we will make a plan with you.
We also offer bespoke training courses, specially tailored to your needs through discussion with us. Our courses can be delivered online, in person in our Talgarth training suite, or our trainers can travel to your own training facilities.
Webinars
Lasting around 45 minutes, our free webinars offer you the chance to explore a part of the application with which you may not be familiar. These are useful overviews if you are new to CMSi, and very helpful if you wish to review and update your current use of the application. We welcome interaction in the webinars, so do bring questions along.

An introduction to the latest ("G4") release of CMSi web - use an internet browser to remotely access your CMSi from any web-enabled device (e.g. a phone or tablet in the field, or a laptop at home).
16th February 2023 11am - CMSi Survey And Monitoring (SAM) - An introduction
In this the first of two webinars on the SAM module, we shall provide an overview of how surveys are designed, and variables are crated and linked to surveys, in the module.

Following on from the previous in this series of two webinars on the SAM module, we take a closer look at creating surveys and really take control by creating our own survey types.
16th March 2023 11am - CMSi Survey app
An introduction to CMSi Survey app. Our mobile app allows you to use a smart-phone or tablet to conduct field surveys. Survey data can be collected and uploaded in the field, or can be collected off-line and uploaded to your CMSi later when you have a phone or Wi-fi connection.
30th March 2023 11am - CMSi Property and Agreements (PAM) - Ownership
Ownership information relates to the legal ownership of a property. This webinar will walk you through how the Property and Agreements Module (PAM) can be used to manage information (e.g. mapped boundaries, title deeds, purchase and sale information, contacts) about property ownership.
20th April 2023 11am - CMSi Property and Agreements (PAM) - Agreements
There are many types of use that a site owner may agree with a site manager, or that the owner or manager may allow or lease to other parties. e.g. hunting, fishing, grazing, fuelwood collection, bee-keeping, research permits, access for recreation, rental for renewable energy installation, rental of buildings. This webinar explains how the Property and Agreements (PAM) module can be used to manage such information; to keep efficient records of agreements and track of renewals.
4th May 2023 11am - CMSi Property and Agreements (PAM) - Assets
Managing sites is not just about habitats and species. There will also be buildings and machinery as well as vehicles and even livestock. With these assets come responsibilities for maintenance and inspection. In this webinar we shall be looking at how we achieve this is CMSi.
25th May 2023 11am - Generating reports and exporting data from CMSi
A guided tour of the various options for generating reports and exporting data from CMSi. There will be some time for users to ask questions and provide feedback on their experiences of this, and to discuss future developments in this area for CMSi Web.
User Group Meeting
9th March 2023 9:30-11:50am
For anyone who has not attended a CMSi user group meeting before, this will be an online event (via MS Teams) where we can update you on the latest news about the CMSi products, and it also provides an opportunity for our clients to share best practices that they have developed in using CMSi, and to discuss initiatives happening throughout the world of conservation that might influence their Adaptive Management Planning practices.
