We are pleased to announce that Idox plc, a leading supplier of specialist information management software and solutions has acquired Exegesis Spatial Data Management Ltd.

The acquisition of Exegesis will considerably improve Idox’s product offering and is highly complementary to Idox existing offerings across the Built Environment and asset intensive sectors. The established mapping technologies and knowledge within Exegesis will enable Idox to provide much needed data and services that allow for location visualisation which is an emerging requirement as organisations digitise their operations. Idox has placed an increased focus on its GIS capabilities recently, notably with the purchase of thinkWhere in August 2021.

The acquisition will provide Exegesis with the investment and resources needed to support further growth, as part of a larger, progressive software business.
